We have launched a new survey for project applicants to tell us about their experiences of the Landfill Communities Fund (LCF) and to find out how easy they have found it to access funding and deliver projects.
The survey is open from Monday 10 August until Sunday 13 September for project applicants who have received LCF funds and completed one or more projects between 1 April 2013 and 31 March 2015.
We believe that applicants experience of managing LCF projects will provide us and the sector with some helpful and constructive information on the future operation and effectiveness of the LCF. The survey consists of a number of questions relating to the process of setting up and delivering a LCF funded project.
When completing the survey, we would be grateful if applicants could provide a response for each of their projects completed between 1 April 2013 and 31 March 2015. If multiple projects have been delivered then the survey can be answered multiple times, so that each project completed can be covered. However, we appreciate that EBs and project applicants have limited resources and if there is only time to tell us about one project, please select the project completed most recently.
The aim of the survey is to help gather evidence, which we consider will be helpful in the future development of the LCF. We appreciate that project funder(s) may already ask similar questions and applicants may have already completed a Form 9, project completion form. It is our intention, as part of our review work, to link the findings of this survey with the results from these other sources. where available, to give a full and clear picture of the management and operation of the LCF across England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Once the survey has closed, we will review the findings and will publish a report of these on our website. The survey is hosted in Survey Monkey and can be completed here. If you have any questions relating to the survey please contact us and we will be happy to help.
