Project Detail

The main aim is to provide a sustainable community facility which meets the needs of the present and future generations, is more comfortable, better equipped, more energy efficient and an asset that the community can be proud of going forward. A thriving Memorial Hall will have a positive impact on rural isolation as more communal activities will be offered and all ages can participate. This will impact on Barnacre which is likely to be a residential growth area requiring improved community facilities long term and likely to see an increase in home working as rural broadband develops. The hall will be key to providing the community meeting point.
