Wetlands Access & Safety Improvements – Grimsargh Wetlands

The project centres on replacing existing fencing along the causeway of the wetlands site. This will help to protect the different habitats and help ensure that the public’s safety is maintained. Secondly, to install a handrail in order that the public, particularly those who are elderly or people with limited mobility, can safely access the Wetlands. There will also be a gate to enable volunteers and maintenance contractors easier access onto the Fen embankment and replacement fencing around a vulnerable area of the Mere embankment.
