Upgrading the children’s play facilities at Coedbach Park

The aim is to improve the children’s play area thereby encouraging more families to enjoy the outdoor experience of the park.

Currently the state of the play area both limits the choice of equipment to play on and discourages parents from allowing their children to run over the broken surface for fear of harm. Many parents have expressed an opinion that they should not need to hold their child’s hand continually in the area. If successful we believe we will more than double the numbers using it which will in future lead to more people recognising the other benefits of being outdoors in the park.
