Upgrade of actual and remote control of building heating system, St Paul’s Community and Learning Centre, Dudley

This is a project to upgrade the actual and remote heating controls at St Paul’s Community and Learning Centre to a 4-5G Internet system.

The heating controls currently operate on a 2G internet system. The centre has been advised that in the space of months the 2G will not be available thus making all the controls and remote obsolete. The centre is seeking a system upgrade to 4-5G plus internet to ensure that the heating system continues to operate as was intended.

The upgrading will offer peace of mind for the many users of the premises. It is important during the winter months to be confident in the centre’s ability to maintain heating as many of the users are quite vulnerable young and old. This is against a backdrop of being situated in area of much need and deprivation.
