Restoring Median Farm for the Marsh Fritillary in Carmarthenshire

To secure the sustainable conservation of the UK BAP Priority Marsh Fritillary at Median Farm (adjacent to Caeau Ffos Fach reserve, near Cross Hands) and, in the medium to long-term, at many other sites in the wider Caeau Mynydd Mawr landscape. The project will enable sympathetic conservation grazing to be introduced at Median Farm which, in turn, will both improve the existing Rhos Pasture and allow unproductive farmland to be restored to this important UK BAP habitat. This will benefit the Marsh Fritillary and many other species.
