Replace heat pump at Seagrove Pavilion Heat Pump

Seagrove Pavilion on the Isle of Wight was opened August 2012

The facility is used for yoga, fun choir, art, bridge, Tai Chi, seniors social and keep active. The site is also home to three uniformed groups, Silver Surfers, Pétanque and football clubs, and it is very popular for private parties. When the building was constructed 12 years earlier, a then state-of-the-art heat pump water/heating system was installed.

Expected to have a life expectancy of 20 years, the pump system failed in September 2023, and despite investigations and several attempts to repair it, the unit has been condemned by engineers, and the original supplier is no longer in business. The building now has no hot water and last winter had to rely on oil fired radiators to remain open. whch trippled electricity bills.
