Refurbishment of Volunteer Working Area within Community Building, Friends of the City of Swansea Botanical Complex (FSCBC)

This is a project to improve the working environment for volunteers aged 55-92 at the City of Swansea Botanical Complex, enabling them to work in a more user-friendly and safe environment. There are five elements: to increase the number of work stations from 7 to 16, including two workstations suitable for wheelchair users; new shelving for pots and tools; an area of safe storage for personal belongings; changes to the sales area to improve the customer experience; provision of eight folding tables to provide temporary workspace, especially outdoors in summer and a lunch area; provision of twelve new shopping trolleys, which can be stored linked together to save space in the area.
