Refurbishment of cricket nets for Morriston Cricket Club

The club runs six senior and junior teams on leased land next to an area of social housing. The cricket nets are the only ones offering free access to anyone in Swansea. They suffer continual vandalism and now need refurbishment, as they are currently unsafe to use. The refurbishment of the nets by replacing boards and the weld mesh fencing will allow the club to use these nets in the summer of 2009. Given the local social housing, the club charges young players only £20 for games and practice in the summer.
