Play For All

To provide and install four sturdy pieces of play equipment suitable for children aged 8-14. This age group are currently not provided for as the current play equipment is only suitable for the under 7’s. There have been incidences of vandalism as the older children feel excluded in the park, and most no longer use the park. As a community organisation we want to include all ages in the park, and having consulted with the young people we are planning to use this project to enable them to feel a sense of belonging and ownership in the park. We are planning a launch when the equipment is installed, and will have young people involved in the planning and advertising of this.
