Over Skatepark

The project aims to provide facilities for skatepark / multiple wheeled sports (skateboard, BMX, rollerblades, scooters) for a diverse range of users including, removal of the dilapidated skate park, design and installation of a new one that will be safe, comparatively easy to maintain and suitable for all ages and abilities and styles of activity for many years to come.
The new skatepark is designed to be suitable for multiple users ( skateboard, scooter, BMX and blades) of all ages, with ability levels ranging from beginner to expert. The new skatepark will be fully wheelchair accessible, encouraging use by all sectors of the community. Colour schemes will assist user with visual impairment and neurodiversity. The park will have no age limit and so is accessible to small children right through to older people.
The proposed designs include environmentally improving aspects such as recycled materials where possible and the new concrete ramps will be easier to maintain.
