National Wetland Centre Wales – Saline Lagoon Restoration

The project will restore 3 saline lagoons on the nature reserve at the NWCW, and provide new interpretation in the overlooking hide and centre observatory. Lagoon restoration works will include installing a new pump to provide a regulated freshwater supply, replacing retaining banks and desilting. A programme of enhanced habitat management and replanting will continue to develop the lagoons over a 2 year period.
