Millport Beach Award

The Cumbrae Initiative Group are keen to achieve European Union Yellow Flag status for the beach in Millport Bay and to promote it’s use by: –
Design and erection of signage to identify; safe bathing and paddling areas; water quality information; life saving equipment; First Aid; Rescue Services; litter awareness; seating and other local information.
This information will link into information on local Tourist and Sports information and North Ayrshire Council’s “ Access for All” policy.
Compliance also requires the erection of a flagpole and provision of life saving equipment.
