Metheringham Swimming Pool – Upgrade of Changing Facilities, Showers, Toilets & Disabled Changing

The project is to build poolside changing, lockers and showers, create separate disabled changing/toilet room and upgrade existing changing rooms and add toilets.
The 50-year old changing rooms have come to the end of their life and are actually making it difficult for people from some groups to access the pool. The disabled changing and toilet facilities at the pool are also not fit for purpose. The project aims to make the pool a more attractive place for whole families to visit. It will also allow elderly swimmers and those with special needs and disabilities to feel comfortable and safe before and after swimming.
