Lower Templer Way Restoration Project

The project has two principle aims.
1) to restore and improve a section of the River Teign which has been impacted by erosion due to high levels of human traffic along the Templer Way.
2) to protect and enhance the footpath for the enjoyment of visitors and local communities and to communicate the areas significant wildlife value in order to promote wise and sustainable use.
The Teignbridge area has been outlined for significant new development and this small piece of valuable countryside needs to be protected so that it can provide value to wildlife and communities well into the future.
