Loamhole Dingle Footpath Restoration

The key aim of the project is to re- site the current footpath that runs through Loamhole Dingle which is one of the most heavily used sites by locals and visitors to the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site. The increased amount of rainfall over recent years has meant that the current access via a boardwalk which runs through the dingle is flooded several times a year, making access difficult and dangerous for walkers. The creation of a new more accessible footpath higher up through the Dingle built with the help of volunteers and contractors would rectify this problem.
