Llangain – Green Castle Woods – Improvements to Visitor Access, Woodland and Meadow Management

The projects will deliver improvements to visitor access at Green Castle Woods, Llangain covering: maintenance of entrances and trails (including the route for people with disabilities); developing interpretation; and providing way – marking for paths and trails. Habitat management will include: flailing wet meadow; removal of bramble / scrub; hedge- laying and trimming plus management of ancient hedges; and tree thinning operations to develop a more stable stand.
