Llanelli – Morfa Berwig Project

The project seeks to conserve and enhance a key site near Llanelli for the endangered water vole, with the aim of using the location as a best practice working example of how to integrate development with the natural environment. A circular walk around the site is to be created for local people to enjoy, including interpretation on its history and biodiversity. This is planned to bring significant community benefits by creating a sense of ownership amongst local inhabitants.
