Installation of All Weather Practice Facilities for the Club

The grant would be used for the installation of two all weather practice facilities at the club. The first would be an artificial cricket wicket on the square which would be used for senior and junior practice and junio games as well as hosting women’s cricket games. At present, due to the size of the cricket square, we struggle to host suitable practice sessions which are often subject to the weather and also the capacity of the square.

The second facility would see an artificial area installed beyond the boundary of the field to allow focused practice and development sessions to take place, particularly with junior players. This would allow coaches to work 1:1 focussed work whereas this is not possible at present due to the facilities available. The grant would enable the club to significantly increase the offering to the local community including collaboration with local schools.
