Haversham cum Little Linford – Playground Replacement

The project aims to replace outdated playground equipment with new inclusive and accessible play equipment which isn’t currently cater for.
Works include:
1. Removal of outdated equipment: carefully dismantling and removing the existing playground equipment that no longer meets safety standards or serves the project’s inclusivity goals.
2. Installation of new play equipment: modern and age-appropriate play equipment, designed with inclusivity in mind, will be installed. This will include features to cater to a diverse range of abilities and interests.
3. Safety surfacing: a safety surface will be installed beneath and around the play equipment to minimise the impact of falls and provide a soft and cushioned landing.
Where possible, environmentally friendly products will be used to minimise the environmental impact of this project. Much of the grass space on site will be preserved as part of the design, and the same applies to the trees.
All by-products of the construction period will be disposed of in the most environmentally friendly manner possible. Where possible, the applicants will choose to re-use existing materials rather than dispose of them.
