Hartlebury Castle Restoration

Our first project is to save the Grade 1 Listed Hartlebury Castle in Hartlebury, Worcestershire and its treasures for the nation by ensuring public access and beneficial management. We will restore key elements of the 18th century landscape, transform the visitor experience and introduce imaginative and engaging interpretation to tell the stories of the Castle’s heritage. The historic Hurd Library will be retained in situ and access to and understanding of its collections will be increased. Our plans will encourage participation by providing new volunteer facilities, training and support.
