Greetham Community Centre – Raise the Roof Fund

The project aims replace the old 1970s roof of the community centre with more modern materials and insulation.
The roof has been patched up many times but has come to the end of it’s useful life. The roof has begun to leak in places and there is almost no insulation. Replacing the roof and adding insulation will enable the applicants to heat the centre more economically and secure the future of the community centre.
The works require removal of the old flat and pitched roofs and insulating them, replacing the battens, boards, felt underlay and slates on the pitched roof. They will also need to insulate and replace the bitumen underlay and mineral top coat on the flat roof extension.
