Gainsborough Town Tennis Club Hard Court Treatment

The project aims to provide hard court treatment, maintenance, non slip painting, and a patio visitor area.
In the last 12 months the club has encountered many problems relating to the courts – hard courts becoming pitted in areas slippery and dangerous to play on; This year, the grass courts have suffered from excessive rain and for many weeks have been too damp to play on creating more use of the hard courts.
Project aims to achieve treating the hard courts; applying anti slip painting on the hard courts; and a larger patio area near the clubhouse with seating for abled and disabled visitors. This would also provide an assembly or waiting area for school classes visiting the club to play and/ or tennis coaching.
It is intended these changes will allow increased usage of the playing courts by allowing more all-year round play, for members, schools and for the public as pay to play.
