Farm security, volunteering & interpretation

Swansea Community Farm (a registered charity and limited company) is the only operational city farm in Wales and is a place where people of all ages and backgrounds can get stuck into a range of practical activities in building and running a small working farm. We are seeking support to: 1. Provide security shutters to our animal house doors, where our Farm animals are kept safely overnight. 2. Grounds maintenance and animal care - volunteer support programme: provide staff and sessional staff to support our two main volunteering days - Thursday Adult Volunteers and Saturday Child & Youth 3. Grounds maintenance capital fund - for the purchase of construction materials for the upkeep of the grounds and buildings, work undertaken by volunteers. 4. Health & safety signage - promoting hand washing & other measures to protect visitors from E-Coli 157 5.
