Eastwood Park, Calow – Play Area and Outdoor Gym

Calow has a population of approx 2,500 and we only have a small play area at the north side of the village which is wholly inadequate. The project is to create a play area including swings and slides on Eastwood Park, the main open green space public area, for children of all ages and to include gym equipment for older children and adults. Provision has been made for disabled children to allow them access to the park and play facilities. A play area will also encourage local people to use the park.We have support from the local community including the headmaster of the local school, district and councillor and our MP.
