Downland and Dewponds: Nature Recovery & Improved Access at Seven Sisters Country Park

To restore two characteristic downland dew ponds at Seven Sisters Country Park, East Sussex, with associated benefits for wildlife, potentially including great-crested newt. To provide new public access and educational infrastructure in the form of a pond-dipping platform to support educational visits and a new trail – linking both ponds and allowing the public to explore and learn about a less-visited area of the country park, its chalk downland landscape, wildlife and heritage.
