Disabled Access Ramp and Disabled Toilet Facilities, Wolverley Memorial Hall Sports and Social Club

This project is a full replacement of the club entrance, with a new ramp, entrance doors and the conversion of a storage room into a disabled toilet area at Wolverley Memorial Hall Sports and Social Club. The social club currently has no disabled access or disabled toilet facilities. With the recent increase in new clubs and communities using the facility, a disabled ramp and toilet will enable the club to include the full local community and enhance the numbers of members and groups that current call it ‘home’.

The project will benefit the local area and community through:-

• Maintaining community access to a popular and extremely well frequented and used community building
• Maintaining the provision of social, leisure, recreational, educational and networking opportunities for the local community
• Stopping the decline in the level of provision in the rural area where the club is based
• Helping the club to continue to support the numerous groups that access and use its facilities
• Becoming fully inclusive of everyone in the local community
• Inspiring other local organisations to apply for funding to improve their buildings
