Cornerstone Church, Wirral – Building Repairs (008166)

Cornerstone Church was gifted the building in 2016 by the previous struggling church, a Condition survey highlighted weathering and rust of the structural beams in the back hall which support the roof. This project will address the rusting steel and create additional support for the roof. Also included in the works is the replacement of the rear Fire Door and lintel. Without the works the building would be structurally unsafe and would need to be taken out of use. This would have a large impact on the wider community as the Back Hall houses the only disabled toilet on site.
