Cornerstone Church, Liverpool – Toilet Refurbishment (008131)

In 2020 Cornerstone Church Liverpool purchased the closed Dovedale Baptist Church. Under previous ownership, the Grade II listed building had fallen into significant disrepair. The church have worked hard to address immediate remedial needs and are now focused on internal building improvements the first is to improve the toilet provision. The current toilets are in two locations serving different areas of the church, both are unisex with shared handwashing facilities with no privacy, no sound or smell proofing, there is no heating, and the toilets are hugely unwelcoming to all. The project is to install upgraded toilets that are for men and women separately and reinstate toilets in a third area (originally containing toilets) to the front of the church together with a disabled toilet.
