Charlwood Recreation Ground, Nr Gatwick – Sports and Community Centre (10088/D)

The project aims to demolish the existing pavilion which is not fit for purpose and replaced it with a new multipurpose Sports and Community Centre. It will have changing rooms for match officials/women /girls, to national guide lines, community meeting/function room with catering facilities. (also used as an education venue) and an archive room to store historic village records. This is a vital resource to retain both young people and adults within organised and proactive activities. The Centre will be built along traditional lines with an external toilet facility for recreational users such as mothers/young children using the play equipment. Storage will be provided at the rear of the building. The Trust granr will contribute towards the superstructure of the building.
