Carmel NNR – Habitat Works

To help create larger areas of bumblebee-friendly habitat by undertaking restoration of wildlife-rich UKBAP grasslands at Carmel National Nature Reserve, Carmarthenshire. Following the purchase of 50.46 hectares of land at Cernydd Carmel SSSI/SAC by Natural Resources Wales (formerly CCW), the project will continue work to restore the site’s semi-improved grasslands, including by conservation grazing.
