Bar Hill Playground redevelopment

To provide a new playground for the village of Bar Hill, replacing the current playground which is outdated. The existing playground equipment is outdated, does not meet current safety standards and limits accessibility for children with disabilities. The new playground will feature modern, safe equipment, accessible play areas, and eco-friendly materials, benefiting over 800 children and their families. Most of the play equipment that is currently there will be replaced, with the new equipment being placed in the location of the previous equipment (there will be extra equipment as well). The swing seat will remain, as will the benches (but the location of them will change). The fencing around the playground will stay, as this is of sound quality. The existing wet pour areas will remain, as this will reduce the cost and the environmental impact (reduces the waste from this project). Green carpet style surfacing will be placed onto the existing wet pour (this includes an eco-tumble covering under some of the equipment).
