All Saints Church Oystermouth

The history of the original building (grade 2 listed) dates back to the 12th Century, as a Norman Church. In the present day, All Saints Church plays a central role in the local community and beyond, by combining a Place of Worship (with unusually high average attendance figures) with a facility that is used by a diverse number of groups and societies throughout the year. Although in full use, some parts of the building are in need of refurbishment/upgrading and a restoration project valued at £600K is in the final stage of planning. This application is in respect of phase 1 of the restoration that includes a new (replacement) porch to the west end of the church.
