Finding funding
There are two primary ways to obtain funding from the LCF:
Through an Environmental Body (EB) that allocates funds on behalf of a Landfill Operator (a distributive Environmental Body). These bodies will register projects on behalf of the applicant meaning you will not need to register with Entrust to receive funding via this method.
Directly from a Landfill Operator (LO) located in England or Northern Ireland.
Most projects secure funding via a distributive EB, and we recommend exploring this option first before seeking funds directly from a Landfill Operator.
As the government-appointed regulator of the LCF, we do not provide funding ourselves.
