The Banks Community Fund - close to a current or proposed area of operation for The Banks Group; mainly County Durham and Tyne and Wear, but other areas also considered

Projects Supported

Updating or refurbishing community facilities or churches (both internally or externally). Developing or improving outdoor community spaces (e.g. Play Areas; community gardens; picnic areas). Environmental projects to support nature reserves or endangered species.

Projects not Supported

Faith Groups promoting religious; non-community based activities. Projects promoting political activities; statutory activities. Improvements to land that are not open to the general public at convenient times; Deficit or retrospective funding. School Projects (unless it is for a community-related school project).
